Phuket Aquarium, Thailand

The aquarium, established in 1983, has been updated in recent years and features a 10 meter walk through an underwater glass tunnel where visitors can see a range of sea life.

The aquarium is also a centre for marine studies with special breeding and hatchery programmes underway to help the endangered sea turtle.

Location: The aquarium is on the southern most tip of the island at Ao Makham Cape Panwa

Entrance Fee: There is an entrance fee of 100 baht for adults and 50 Baht for children

Open daily from 8.30am to 4.00pm.
